EastEnders fans are convinced Cindy Beale is about to kill a beloved resident on the soap.
The character, played by Michelle Collins, is famous for her conniving and sly ways – and 36 years since her debut, and it’s clear Cindy has not changed. As fans will recall, she is currently having an affair with her ex-husband George Knight’s (Colin Salmon), son, Junior (Micah Balfour).
Last week though, things took a dramatic turn when George’s brother Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) caught Cindy and Junior kissing, as they agreed to continue their affair. Kojo later ran away, and following a struggle with Cindy, he ended up falling from a Hugh balcony.
After calling an ambulance, Cindy lied and said she found Kojo like that – and he was quickly rushed to hospital, where it was revealed he was in a coma. Since then, Cindy has been on edge, scared that Kojo might remember what happened when he eventually wakes up.

However, during Monday’s episode (December 2), Kojo was awoken from his coma – leaving Cindy terrified of what he might reveal. After finding out he was going to be awake, she headed over to the hospital.
Once alone with a vulnerable Kojo though, a sick Cindy then confronted him and asked to keep their “little secret” before warning him what would happen if anyone found out. It will destroy George’s family, and George will do anything to protect his family. And you wouldn’t want to be the one to ruin that, would you?” she said.
Cindy went on: “Because he might send you back to live with your brother. And you’ve adjusted so well, slotted in. And the girls would really miss you. But don’t worry, because you’re going to do what you’re told aren’t you?”
Now, fans fear that Cindy could be set for a shock murder storyline – invoking Kojo. On X, one person said: “Cindy is gonna do something bad to this guy. Ugh, I cannot deal.” Someone else agreed: “I’m SCARED!!!” A third chimed in: “I’m actually so worried, but I also believe that Kojo is smarter than he seems.”
