Eamonn Holmes has shared a touching moment with his beloved rescue dog Maggie on Instagram and left fans delighted with their reunion.
The GB News Breakfast star posted a video showing him sitting in the front seat of his car whilst Maggie affectionately licked his ear from behind.
Eamonn can be heard singing The Beatles track “All You Need Is Love” during the heartwarming exchange.
“Ahhh that dog loves me, thank you, Maggie,” Eamonn told the camera following their day out together.
In his caption accompanying the post, he wrote: “All u need is Love … And a Rescue Dog!”
Fans were quick to respond to Eamonn’s touching post, with one commenting: “Ahh Eamonn isn’t she just so precious.”
“Well you’ve had a good wash she does love you,” another follower wrote before a third said: “Eamonn and Maggie. So lovely to see you both.”
“Aw Eamonn the love of a dog is endless,” another user penned, leaving someone else to add: “Aw unconditional love from Maggie.” (sic)
The rescue dog has been a cherished member of Eamonn’s family since 2011 when he and ex-wife Ruth Langsford adopted her.
Maggie has been described as “like a second child” to Eamonn and Langsford, even making appearances with the pair on ITV’s This Morning.

The tender moment comes amid custody arrangements for Maggie following Eamonn and Langsford’s split last May.
The former This Morning anchors’ separation resulted in Loose Women presenter Langsford maintaining primary care of their cherished pet.
Despite the arrangement, Eamonn’s delight at being reunited with his beloved pooch was plain to see in his latest Instagram update.

“My life was changed 15 years ago when I rescued a dog,” he revealed, visibly moved. “I see all animals differently 1737042429.
“Do you know what the most lovable two animals are, that love people and love affection? Cows and pigs,” he told co-star Nana Akua, warming to his subject.
“What do we do? We shoot them in the head and carve them up for meat and things,” he lamented.
