Prince Andrew is said to be “angry and humiliated” as the Duke of York continues to fight to stay in Royal Lodge.

The Duke of York is reportedly refusing to move out of the royal residence, after his name was revealed amongst a list of over 150 people associated with Jeffrey Epstein.

The royal had a long-term friendship with the disgraced paedophile before his death in 2019, after being jailed in New York for sex trafficking crimes.

Prince Andrew had previously been accused by a victim of Epstein, Virginia Giuffre, who claimed he had engaged in intimate relations with her, organised by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Prince Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, and agreed an out of court settlement with Giuffre as a result.

There has also been no admission of guilt from the Duke of York.

Discussing his bid to stay in his Windsor residence with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, GB News panellist Emma Woolf said the “court of public opinion” have made-up their mind about Prince Andrew.

She also argued that the pressure is now “on the King” to step in and take action.

Woolf told Britain’s Newsroom: “He is living in Royal Lodge at the taxpayers behest basically.

“It’s a real thorn in Charles’ side, this difficult troublesome younger brother. It’s only going to get worse.

She continued: “He’s angry, he’s belligerent, he’s humiliated. He’s settled already with Virginia Giuffre.”

Host Andrew Pierce then revealed details about Royal Lodge, admitting: “I went to Royal Lodge and I thought it would be quite small. It was like a stately home.

“I was waiting for him and a helicopter landed in the garden, which gives you a indication of the scale. It is 30 rooms, and when we say 30 rooms we don’t mean rooms of our sizes.”

Panellist Matthew Laza shared his thoughts on the royal battle, adding: “Now the King’s indicated that he’s going to withdraw the security and be pretty firm with Andrew, he’s gonna have to follow with it.”

Woolf then chimed in: “It hasn’t damaged Charles yet, but it’s not going away. I think the King is going to have to do something about this.”
