Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s professional relationship is in a “very bad state” as they try to “navigate their next steps”, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have displayed a professional separation in recent months, with Harry embarking on several solo engagements abroad and Meghan remaining at home with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, the royal couple are facing fresh criticism from renowned editor Tina Brown, who claimed that Meghan Markle has “the worst judgement in the world” and is “flawless about getting it all wrong”.

Taking aim at Prince Harry, Brown told The Ankler Podcast that he “blindly” followed his wife to California to start their new life, and she in return portrayed him as a “child” and a “lamb to slaughter”.

Reacting to Brown’s comments, royal biographer Angela Levin claimed that Meghan would have not reacted well to the comments made about her, as she “thinks she is incredibly important in the world”.

Levin told host Nana Akua: “Tina Brown described Meghan in a very negative way, a way that no one has dared to before.

“Apparently Meghan is actually inconsolable with tears, crying nonstop, because she really liked Tina Brown and now she’s dropped her. She claimed Meghan has the worst judgement in the world and that her media strategy is total rubbish.

“Can you imagine hearing that about yourself? Especially when you think you’re incredibly important and everything you do is global.”

Noting the recent work separation for the Sussexes, Levin claimed that their professional relationship is in a “very bad state”, and Harry is still “facing trouble with his US visa”.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Levin told GB News: “He’s got trouble with his visa. They’re allowed to look again at what the problem is, and he might still not be able to stay there. Maybe that’s why they’re buying somewhere else.

“They say they’re going to work separately, then they say they’re buying a house in Portugal – you don’t do that if you don’t want to separate for most of the time, so I wonder if it’s in a very bad state. But I’m sure they’re trying to work out something.”

In further strain for the Sussexes, Levin claimed that Prince Harry “doesn’t know where he is at the moment” in his decision making, after the couple reportedly missed Prince Archie’s first day at school due to their Colombia trip.

Levin claimed: “He wasn’t home for Archie to go to spend his first day at school, he didn’t see him go off, which I think is a shame.

“You know, age five, first time you go to school. Catherine and William both were there for their children. I think he doesn’t know where he is at the moment. It’s very, very difficult.”

Speaking to Australian media, a royal insider claimed that Prince Harry “had Archie on his mind the whole time” they were in Colombia.

A source claimed: “Harry’s tendency to leave most of the decision-making to Meghan is not sitting well with him at all. He might have signed off on Colombia, but it was pretty clear he didn’t want to be there and had Archie on his mind the whole time.

“Harry didn’t realise how close to his first day of school it would be, but Meghan assured him they’d be back in time and it wouldn’t impact on Archie’s big day.”
