Rescue teams said they were doing “everything they can” to find a man who fell into a reservoir while paddleboarding as their search continued for a third day.
An operation to locate the missing man has been under way since Sunday after a couple went missing at Dovestone Reservoir near Oldham – and a woman was later pulled safely from the water.
The search was paused late last night amid “very difficult” conditions, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman sad.
Efforts resumed earlier while a large cordon remained in place around the reservoir at the edge of the Peak District.
