The Detroit Pistons have now lost their 25-straight game in a row following Thursday night’s 119-111 defeat to the Utah Jazz.
Detroit stayed within shouting distance of ending the embarrassing the streak within six-points or less throughout majority of the night.
Utah did not begin to pull away on the score board until the final three minutes of the game when a well-timed run secured their victory.
Superstar guard Cade Cunningham spearheaded Detroit’s latest attempt at a victory after he picked up 28 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.
Cunningham played nearly the entire game and logged 39 minutes as he tried to end his team’s losing ways.

Utah on the other hand were led by veteran big man Kelly Olynyk who recorded 27 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
Olynyk was not the only member of the Jazz to put forth a good effort as a total of six different Utah players scored in double figures during the game.
Pistons fans voiced their frustration with the losing ways by chanting for ownership to sell the team.

Detroit’s record now falls to a pitiful 2-26 and the team has not recorded a win since October 28 against the Chicago Bulls in the Pistons third game of the season.
That win was preluded by a win on the night before hand when the Pistons had defeated the Charlotte Hornets to put together a two-game winning streak before starting off the potentially history making losing run.
Detroit’s next chance to end their losing streak will come on Saturday night when they face off against the Brooklyn Nets in the Barclays Center.
