A Delta Airline’s passenger has been slammed for his ‘weird’ behavior after he left a mess on the floor and tried to ‘steal’ someone else’s AirPods.
A frequent flyer took to Reddit to reveal the unnamed man sitting next to him was a nightmare seatmate as he detailed all the odd practices he witnessed the passenger do.
In a thread titled, Delta, the passenger revealed he was flying from Detroit to Phoenix while sitting in First Class.
Although he was set to enjoy a lavish flying experience, the Reddit user admitted that he ‘couldn’t wait for the flight to be over’ so that he could get away from the passenger sitting beside him.
He criticized the frequent flyer and branded him a ‘hot mess’ as he detailed the various behaviors that left him jaw-dropped.

The post was titled: ‘Worst first class passenger.’
The social media user revealed that his neighbor’s food practice raised eyebrows.
‘Flying first class from Detroit to Phoenix, and the guy sitting next to me was a hot mess. [I] realized halfway through the flight that he had spilled all of his snacks and not only did he not clean them up, but [he] grounded them into the carpet with his tennis shoes.
‘[He also] left like three newspapers tucked into the chair in front of him as well.’
In addition to leaving his snacks all over the floor, the frequent flyer even attempted to steal a high-ticket item, according to the other passenger.
‘Here’s the real kicker, halfway through the flight I realized my AirPods, which were sitting on the armrest were missing.
‘He was in the bathroom and I thought he had knocked them off when he got up. I hit the find my alarm and didn’t hear anything and thought maybe I needed to be on the ground for it to work.
‘When he got back to the chair, I hit it again and the alarm came from his coat. He looked shocked and I said, “I think that’s coming from your coat”. He said he thought they were his and did show me his AirPods from his other pocket. His were like three generations ago, but I let it slide,’ the social media user said.

At the end of the post, the passenger claimed he was on the edge of the seat waiting for the plane to land so that he no longer had to be near his disastrous neighbor.
He wrote: ‘[He was] the weirdest seatmate ever and I couldn’t wait for that flight to be over.’
The social media user also shared a photo of the man’s snacks all over the plane floor.
