More than 100 people have been evacuated from a building partly used as a block of flats in east London which has been engulfed in flames.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 02:44 BST and parts of the scaffolding surrounding the building as well as from the ground floor up to the sixth floor and the roof are alight.
Forty fire engines and 225 firefighters have been sent to Freshwater Road which has been closed to traffic.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, the Brigade has said.
