Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has revealed the outcome of Adam Barlow’s kidnap storyline, with Damon Hay enacting his plan of revenge.
Adam ran Damon out of Weatherfield earlier this year following his dalliance with his wife Sarah, but the criminal has returned to the cobbles to win back Sarah and get some payback on the solicitor.
In tonight’s (January 1) episode, Adam met up with Sarah as he recovered from his panic attack, but revealed it would have to be a brief meeting as he had an appointment with a client.

As he made his way to the office, Adam left a voicemail for the mystery client to tell them they were late, but failed to deduce that the proposed meeting was a setup from Damon, who had been tailing him across the village.
Adam walked right into his trap, with one of Damon’s accomplices dragging him into a van before driving to the docks.
Damon reiterated his desire for Adam to pay the ultimate price, but revealed that he had some use for him before that point. He then drove to Weatherfield to win Sarah back.
She was in no mood for old feelings, however, as she had just stormed out of a restaurant after some fierce words with Bethany, and quickly put Damon in his place saying she wanted nothing to do with him.

Damon, however, wouldn’t take no for an answer, pleading with Sarah to let him in her flat as he revealed he had previously sent a voicemail. After asking what happened between Sarah and Adam, Damon was left stunned as Sarah revealed she had miscarried his baby.
Despite pleading with her to give him a second chance, she showed him the door and said that it wouldn’t work between them. Damon soon took his anger out on Adam.
Just as Damon prepared to pull the trigger, a hooded Adam asked for his final messages to be sent to Harry and Sarah. Damon then had a change of heart and released him.
It might not be the end of the drama, as Adam subsequently went to the police to report the crime. He bumped into Damon in the village, issuing a threat in front of Daniel. Will the pair feud once more?…
