Colombia eased through to the semifinals of the Copa America on Saturday night with a superb 5-0 win over Panama in Arizona.

They took just eight minutes to grab the lead with Jhon Cordoba heading home from close range.

Veteran James Rodriguez doubled their advantage from the penalty spot before Liverpool star Luis Diaz produced a delightful trip to make it 3-0 after 41 minutes.

Second-half goals from Richard Rios and Miguel Borja compounded matters for Panama – who were terrible on the night.

Colombia will now face the winner of the fourth quarterfinal – between Uruguay and Brazil.
