Lancashire have re-signed all-rounder Chris Green for the next two T20 Blast campaigns.

The new deal will also include an option for the 31-year-old to play in the County Championship and One-Day Cup.

After signing for Lancashire in April, the Australian impressed with 14 wickets and 155 runs at a strike-rate of more than 160 during the 2024 T20 Blast tournament.

“I absolutely loved my first year with the club and I am even more excited to be coming back for the next two seasons – I can’t wait to join up with the team again next summer,” Green said, external.

“It is a really special group of players at Lancashire. I know that there are big things to come, and I am looking forward to playing my part in that during 2025 and 2026.”

Green, who won his sole T20 cap for Australia in December, has previously played for Middlesex and Birmingham Bears in the Blast.

He has also competed in Australia’s Big Bash League, the Caribbean Premier League and the Indian Premier League.
