In a letter from the Department of Health, and seen by the , the permanent secretary at the Department of Health Peter May has written to the Social Democratic and Labour Party assembly member Mark H Durkan, who raised concerns about a number of cases, to say that an external review was being conducted by the cervical cytology service in Wales.
