Carole Middleton and Princess Beatrice have jumped on Princess Kate’s style trend in recent years.

Since first wearing the British label Self Portrait in 2016, the Princess of Wales has worn their dresses repeatedly during engagements and family gatherings.

Her mother Carole Middleton, 69, has now jumped on the trend, as she wore one of their designs at Royal Ascot last month.

The £175 silk dress is light blue and floor-length, which looked beautiful on the mother-of-three.

Princess Beatrice, whose first cousin Prince William is married to Kate, has also jumped on the Self Portrait train in recent years.

For a Buckingham Palace garden party in 2022, Beatrice wore a Self Portrait dress featuring a check print, a fit and flare silhouette and a round neckline finished with a delicate pink bow.

Back in 2017, Beatrice stole the turned heads in a semi-sheer dress from the British label that had a navy blue overlay and a body-skimming cut.

Founded by Malaysian-born designer Han Chong in 2013, Self Portrait rose to fame for its contemporary designs.

Their signature lace dresses, structured silhouettes, and sophisticated details offer a fresh take on traditional royal fashion.

Other royals that have worn the British label include Pippa Middleton and Meghan Markle.

In 2017, Pippa attended Wimbledon in a sheer lacy pink dress from Self Portrait.

The brand’s take on the see-through dress trend was perfect for Kate’s sister, who usually opts for classic, often conservative, silhouettes.

She finished the outfit with neutral pumps, a grey suede clutch and oversized cat eye sunglasses from ZanZan.

In April 2018, just one month before marrying Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out for a reception at the Australian High Commission celebrating the forthcoming Sydney Invictus Games.

Meghan wore a green Self Portrait floral dress with a pleated skirt, a low neckline and cut-out detailing on the bodice.
