“But I’m proud my guys can turn on a dime and play something they haven’t played in years and haven’t heard in a long time.

“In the beginning of the tour our set list sort of stays a certain way until we loosen up and then we switch things up all of the time.

“It’s good for fans, particularly those that come to loads of shows. I have very dedicated fans who come to more than one show and I like to play a different show.”

Adam Davis will see The Boss three times this summer – after seeing him for the first time in London’s Hyde Park last year.

“I’ve never heard music like it, it was a different level,” said the 37-year-old, who will make the journey from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, to Cardiff.

“I think he has the most incredible band with such a variety of instruments. And it’s his personality, you feel like you know him when you hear him perform.”
