Britons have spotted Gingerbread Oreos at B&M and are ecstatic to try the festive flavour.

They were previously launched as a limited edition release but appear to be back ahead of the Christmas period, sporting little snowflakes on the packaging.

Social media posts by Newfoodsuk across Instagram and Facebook have garnered lots of attention from fans of the popular treat.

The food blog’s post read: “New Gingerbread Oreo! These are very spot on, the flavour is super strong which we loved! Now available at B&M!”

One Oreo fan commented: “I bought four packs, haha, can definitely taste the ginger.” Another confirmed: “I love these cookies.”

A third can’t wait to get themselves down to their local B&M: “It’s calling us!”

The comments section was flooded with excited emojis, from drooling faces to heart-eyes to clapping hands.

Over on Facebook, Oreo fans were similarly delighted. One cookie lover is determined to get their hands on the treat. They said: “I was in there today and didn’t see these. Going back for a second look!”

Another said: “Ooh, they sound nice! I love the little gingerbread on the biscuit, looks so cute!”

One more rejoiced: “Omg! I need these in my life.” Another Oreo enthusist described it as a “need”.

Another social media user revealed high expectations for the treat, calling it a “potential game-changer”.

The comments section was flooded with cries of “Oooh, yes”, “I need them” and “B&M, here I come”.

B&M isn’t the only retailer with a new product on its shelves though, with M&S also announcing the news of a festive treat.

The British retailer has launched a “must-have” Christmas product – the “first Christmas tin of the season”.

Some customers were delighted to hear the news, getting into the spirit of the season a few months early.

However, others couldn’t believe a Christmassy product had already been spotted on shelves. One disgruntled shopper asked: “Can we finish summer please?”
