•  Brisbane Lions stars have continued cutting loose
  •  Players arrived at inner-Brisbane pub in wacky outfits
  •  Lions humiliated the Swans in Sunday’s AFL decider

Brisbane’s AFL premiership celebrations have rolled on for a third straight day, with Lions stars busting out hilarious costumes for their Mad Monday festivities.

The victory party continued on Monday after their grand final win over the Swans, with players celebrating at an inner-Brisbane pub in West End.

Harris Andrews showed up early in a bizarre outfit that made it look like he was being carried around by an alien.

The Lions co-captain brought the premiership trophy and stepped out with grand final hero Cam Rayner, who was dressed as an evil nun after taking the most spectacular mark of the day against Sydney.

Jaspa Fletcher showed up smiling in a frog onesie, while Carter Michael and Henry Smith arrived in blue-and-white striped pyjamas as famous Aussie children’s TV characters B1 and B2.

Will McLachlan and Noah Answerth arrived dressed as cartoon duo Rick and Morty, while Luke Lloyd and Reece Torrent came as the Super Mario Bros.

Co-captain Lachie Neale came just as himself to the venue – and noticeably wasn’t wearing the moonboot he was sporting on Sunday to help him recover from a serious heel injury.

Neale said he heard a pop in his foot during the decider, and was worried he could have snapped his plantar fascia – leaving him facing a long recovery process.

Midfielder Josh Dunkley told media that he’d been partying hard since Sunday.

‘Can’t beat it, unbelievable feeling,’ he told the Herald Sun.

‘Over the last couple of nights I have probably slept six hours.’

Zac Bailey showed up as Spider-Man, while Tom Doedee came in a red Christmas dress.

‘This is a concerning amount of cameras for what I look like,’ Doedee said.

Joe Daniher rocked up in a denim skirt and denim jacket as rumours about his possible impending retirement continued to swirl, while Brandon Starcevich came as Walter White from Breaking Bad.

The squad flew back into Brisbane on Sunday afternoon and were met by thousands of happy fans at the Brighton Homes Arena.

On Sunday, the side turned up to the Lions’ Melbourne family day at Brunswick St Oval in Fitzroy.

Neale described finally becoming a premiership winner as being ‘way better’ than he thought it would be.

‘You always imagine that moment and think it’s going to be incredible,’ he said.

‘Words can’t really describe how incredible the last (period of time) since that final siren.

‘I can’t really say the best moment of my life, otherwise my wife will kill me, but very close.’

The club’s visit to the spiritual home of the Fitzroy football club was in stark contrast to 12 months earlier when the mood was downcast following a heartbreaking four-point loss against Collingwood in the grand final.
