Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Marissa Rand this week.
Three months after Rand revealed she was expecting by holding a ‘Justin, I’m pregnant’ sign at the Chiefs’ regular-season game against the New Orleans Saints, Reid has shared a photo of himself holding a newborn baby in his arms on Instagram.
Following her stunt in October, the couple announced they were having a girl in a heartwarming gender-reveal video on social media.
Reid has now appeared to confirm that his girlfriend of the last two-and-a-half years has given birth to their daughter with the post on his Instagram story, although he did not include a caption.
Justin has been with Marissa since at least September 2022 – when they first went public with their relationship – yet the Chiefs WAG hinted at the romance three months earlier when she shared a photo of herself flying to Kansas City on Instagram.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Rand, who is from Houston, Texas, works as an Investment Consultant at Fidelity Investments. Reid began his NFL career with the Texans before joining the Chiefs in 2022.

His lifechanging personal news comes a few days out from Kansas City’s crucial playoff showdown with the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead, where the AFC Championship and a place in the Super Bowl will be up for grabs.
The 27-year-old is currently in his third season with the team after signing a three-year, $31.5million contract back in May 2022.
Reid spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Texans, who selected him with the 68th overall pick in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He is not the only Chiefs star to celebrate the birth of a child amid their three-peat bid, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany welcoming their third together earlier this month.
Just six days after giving birth to daughter Golden Raye, Brittany was incredibly seen at Arrowhead for last weekend’s Divisional playoff against the Houston Texans.
She even appeared on the field before the game to wish husband Patrick good luck ahead of his latest playoff outing.
Brittany’s surprise appearance did not go unnoticed in Hollywood, with Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson left just as shocked as everyone else.
‘How is she upright? Six days after I had a baby, somebody told me that beer would help bring in your milk or whatever it is,’ she said on the TODAY show.

Brittany was at Arrowhead to cheer Patrick on against the Texans six days after giving birth
‘So I think I had a giant Guinness and a huge bowl of puffed Cheetos, and I was staring into the abyss, like, ‘What have I done?’”
Brittany even took a seat on the floor with her two older kids to watch Patrick’s press conference after the Chiefs had won 23-14 on the day.
The wife of Kansas City’s star quarterback has, at times, been a polarizing figure among football fans, but she is rarely missing for her husband’s big games.
One fan account, called ChiefsKingdomMom, wrote on X after her appearance at the Texans playoff: I’f you have never been a woman 5 days post-delivery, you do not understand what it took for her to be on that sideline.
‘I am not talking about childcare or her appearance, I am talking about what her body is going through. I was floored when I saw she was there. Simply amazing.’
Another said: ‘Brittany Mahomes on the sideline 6 days postpartum is so crazy.’
The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fan account TayvisHaze also shared a video of Brittany and Patrick kissing before the game, and wrote: ‘You can say whatever you want about Brittany Mahomes, but you cannot question her loyalty to Patrick.’
