A fundraiser for a contestant who won just £5 on a TV game show has passed the £100,000 jackpot he missed out on.
Brad Wale, who has motor neurone disease (MND), had told viewers of ITV’s Deal or No Deal he hoped to use the jackpot to fund a bucket list.
The appeal was set up for Wolverhampton-born Mr Wale – who now lives in Bridgnorth, Shropshire – by a fellow contestant.
Thanking donors in a Facebook post,, external he said: “You’ll never begin to understand how much you’ve changed my life or what you’ve done for me.”
