The bizarre reason US Presidential elect Donald Trump did not attend the Penn State-Ohio State football game ahead of the election has been revealed.

Ahead of the anticipated showdown between the college football giants, it was reported that the then-presidential candidate would be in attendance at Beaver Stadium.

The game occurred three days before the election, with Pennsylvania being regarded as one of the must-win swing states.

However, shortly before the game, a Penn State spokesperson told the Center Daily Times that Trump would no longer attend the game.

‘The University has been notified that former President Donald Trump will no longer be attending the Ohio State-Penn State football game,’ the statement read.

However, in the latest edition of his self-titled show, Ronan Bell claimed there was another reason behind Trump’s cancelation besides apparent security-related issues.

Bell shared that Trump wanted to buy hotdogs for all 110,000 fans in attendance. Unfortunately, his $770,000 transaction was turned down by Penn State football, per Bell.

The Lions lost the game, 13-20, to the Buckeyes. Ohio State would then beat Purdue to extend their win streak to three games and improve their record to 8-1.

On the other hand, Penn State bounced back and defeated Washington to move to an 8-1 record. Their identical records leave both teams tied for third place in the Big 10.

Meanwhile, his absence did not hurt Trump’s chances with the Keystone State as he garnered 50.5percent of votes in Pennsylvania on his way back to the White House.
