Chicago Bears star Cole Kmet had himself quite a day in London on Sunday, scoring two touchdowns from tight end – and filling in as an emergency long snapper.

The former Notre Dame player, 25, had one of the most impressive games of his career in the win over the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and certainly earned his paycheck, helping out in a secondary role.

After an early injury to long snapper Scott Daly that ruled him out of the game, Kmet stepped in as the replacement player.

Incredibly, Kmet scored the first touchdown of the game, meaning that rather than celebrate, he had to then step up and snap for the extra point himself.

Kmet became the first long snapper in NFL history to score two touchdowns in a game, as he then repeated the feat just two drives later – scoring another TD and then snapping the ball for the PAT.

On social media, fans went wild for the rare feat, with Pat McAfee writing: ‘COLE KMET IS AN ABSOLUTE DAWG.. A throwback.. a stud.. a beast.. A FOOTBALL PLAYER.’

By halftime, he had four receptions for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and in the second half he added one more catch and totaled an impressive 70 yards.

It was a great day out in London for the Bears, who sealed a 35-16 win to go 4-2 for the season, while the Jags fell to 1-5.

Quarterback Caleb Williams showed off his incredible arm in the win, throwing for 226 yards and four touchdowns.
