Former Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker found himself in a chaotic situation where he was forced to abandon his car.
Walker, 47, took part in the BBC dance competition in 2021. Partnered with Nadiya Bychkova, the couple ended in a respectable fifth place.
As snow batters parts of the UK this week, Walker, who lives in Sheffield, was among those impacted as he attempted to travel to work.
On Tuesday, he explained he’d had to leave his car in the snow on the way to his radio show.
Walker presented on BBC Breakfast from 2016 to 2022, and now presents weekly on Classic FM.
Taking to social media, he shared his disastrous journey with followers after getting caught in the hazardous conditions.

His vehicle ended up breaking down, with Walker going on to document the situation on social media.
Alongside a snap of the car, he penned on Instagram: “Had to abandon broken down car in the snow this morning. Very late for Classic FM show.”
He continued by urging fans to take caution, concluding: “Hopefully on air soon. Stay safe out there.”
Eventually he made it to the studio, and again shared the news with concerned followers.
Well… that was an eventful start to a Tuesday 🥶🚘😂

“Well that was an epic morning, overnight snow in Sheffield,” he commented as he filmed himself for his Instagram Story.
“Cancelled cab, new cab gets a flat tyre then breaks down,” he added, recalling his unfortunate commute.
He added: “Trying to change the tyre on the side of the motorway… Then a police escort off the motorway.
“Then emergency Uber, finally getting to the studio at five minutes to nine, having left home at 4.45 in the morning.”
He ended his video: “Still, I hope you’re ok. If you have some snow, get out there and enjoy it.”
Walker also posted the updates on X, where plenty of sympathetic fans were glad to hear things ended up well.
“Glad you made it in Dan. You were missed though it’s always a pleasure to listen to Lucy,” one listener commented.
“Stay warm and safe,” another advised before a third penned: “Take care Dan.”
“Oh no. I hope that you have it sorted now,” another shared.
Someone else wrote: “So long as you’re safe, the car can be sorted later!”
However, others poked fun at the amount of snow visible in the photo, with many arguing the presenter had been exaggerating.
“Hardly snow Dan…..a dusting perhaps but roads look clear enough…” one added. (sic)
