Mrs Brown’s Boys star Gary Hollywood and his wife Cheyanne has announced the birth of their second child, “rainbow baby” Carter.
Hollywood, 45, plays Dino in the popular BBC sitcom shares another child with Cheyanne, Ollie.
Last year, the couple were informed they had tragically lost a baby due to miscarriage during Cheyanne’s 12-week scan.
Both were devastated by the loss and took some time to recover, explaining they were initially “apprehensive” when they discoevred Cheyanne was pregnant again.
“When we saw that positive test in February, we didn’t want to get too excited, especially in the early days,” they told OK! Magazine.
She continues: “We didn’t actually talk about it to each other. We went out for dinner one night and I just broke down crying – and then Gary did too.”
Hollywood and Cheyanne already share a son, Ollie.

The couple explained the trauma of Cheyanne’s miscarriage “never leaves you” and their nerves meant they kept the news secret until after the 12-week scan.
“A lot of people knew that I was pregnant last year. This time around, we wanted to keep it as our little secret,” Cheyanne explained.
Thankfully, Carter was born on October 11 healthy after a speedy labour.
“Let’s just say an episode of Coronation Street lasts longer,” Hollywood quipped.

Addressing his own feelings at the birth of his new son, Hollywood said: “I cried at all my children’s births and because this was a rainbow baby, it made it even more special.”
The 45-year-old has three other older sons. Jack, 22, and Charlie, 20, who he shares with his ex-wife Sharon Mudre – the couple split after 14 years of marriage in 2017.
Hollywood also has a 20-year-old son, Zachary, from a prior relationship with his childhood sweetheart, Anne Haney.
The actor had been a series regular on Mrs Brown’s Boys since 2004, leaving in 2020.
When asked about a potential return, he declared: “It’s firmly in the past. I’m grateful for the good memories and enjoyed it while it lasted, but I’ve moved on.”
“It was 20 years of my life and a huge chapter of it, so I just take the good memories with the not-so-good ones,” he said.
Focusing on fatherhood: Hollywood says he’s got more time for his kids

Hollywood explained he now wants to focus more on fatherhood than he was able to previously.
He concluded: “In my twenties, I was chasing my career and money and not really cherishing the moment. I missed out on a lot. Now, with Carter and Ollie being born and leaving Mrs Brown’s Boys, I get to enjoy every minute and cherish those moments.”
