Asda has unveiled its new Christmas advertising campaign, featuring a team of animated garden gnomes on a festive mission.

The charming adventure is set to premiere on television during Coronation Street on ITV, November 6 at 8:15 pm.

The campaign introduces five hero gnomes – Max, Gnibbles, Gnorma, Gnicky, and Gnarla – who come to life in a snowstorm to help Asda colleagues prepare their store for the holiday season.

The ad, created over seven months using more than 3,000 hours of animated footage, is set to the iconic theme of “The A-Team”.

The advert concludes with the gnomes departing in Asda vans, leaving a perfectly prepared store.

Gnomes are already sold in Asda and fans of the supermarket will be delighted to know that the advert characters will be available in stores.

From November 7, customers can purchase the five hero gnomes alongside Asda’s popular Mrs Claus gnome.

These collectable characters will be on shelves nationwide, alongside Asda’s festive product range including more than 540 items.

The festive selection features award-winning Exceptional mince pies at £2.50 and party penguin bao buns at £3.50.

Each gnome boasts unique skills, from Max’s adventurous spirit to Gnicky’s fashionista flair.
