Asda shares an urgent warning as product fails to meet safety requirements

A product recall has been shared for children’s clothing sold in Asda.

The supermarket giant has told customers to bring the item back to stores where a refund will be given.

ASDA

The product does not meet sun safety requirements which means it may not work effectively.

The supermarket said: “The Boys Octopus Rash Vest and Short does not meet EN 13758-2 sun safe requirement.

“If you have purchased a Boys Octopus Rash Vest and Short set please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.

“We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you would like any further information, please contact: Asda Customer Relations – 0800 952 0101.”

Asda has an ongoing warning for crisps that contain milk that is not mentioned on the label. This could cause serious symptoms including hives, vomiting and more.

The retailer said: “Asda is recalling the above Best Before Date Code of Asda Extra Special Sea Salt & Chardonnay Wine Vinegar Hand Cooked Crisps 150g because packs contain milk which is not mentioned on the label.

“This means that the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk.

“If you have purchased Allergen Alert: Asda Extra Special Sea Salt & Chardonnay Wine Vinegar Hand Cooked Crisps 150g with the above best before date, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.

“You do not need your receipt. No other date codes are affected.”

Snacks that can cause hives, vomiting and more symptoms are also pulled from shelves.
