Arsenal fans were left crying out for a new forward as their team struggled in front of goal once again against Liverpool.
The Gunners missed a number of great opportunities in a game they mostly dominated in the FA Cup third round, eventually drawing a blank as the Reds ran out 2-0 winners.
A Jakub Kiwior own goal accompanied a Luis Diaz strike to seal the win for Liverpool, who would have been happy to go into half time level with the home side somehow not finding the back of the net in the first half.
Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard all missed good opportunities in a game where Mikel Arteta’s side registered an xG of 1.89. They have also scored just one goal from 6.47xG over the last three games.
Arsenal fans took to social media to call for a new striker, as it became clear where Gunners are lacking in their side.

Gabriel Jesus missed the game through injury but has scored just three goals in 15 appearances in the Premier League so far this season, with Eddie Nketiah benched for Havertz on Sunday.
With the transfer window open, Arsenal may opt to move for a striker, and would be willing to do so if the right opportunity arises.
