Escape to the Chateau star Angel Adoree has opened up about a mishap she encountered with her father and brother during a trip to the USA.
Back in February, Adoree, Dick Strawbridge and their children – Arthur and Dorothy – began their tour in America, taking in all the sights as they went along.
During a recent episode of their podcast Dick & Angel’s Chat…Eau, Adoree discussed how she and her family were planning a trip to Niagara Falls.
After Strawbridge discussed barrel rolling – something Adoree was opposed to doing – she went on to explain: “There are lots of different things to do once you get there.
“My dad is sort of going through and he is already looking at the boats and the helicopters and yesterday he was just like, have you seen the amazing zip wire!
“And I’m like ‘No, not doing the zip wire dad’,” to which Strawbridge joked: “Your dad can, that would be quite fun!

“We will push him to see where he ends up! We’re going together so wherever he ends up he has to try and get back!”
Touching upon Adoree’s misadventures, Strawbridge added: “Steve has the ability to get lost in a lift, you can put him in a lift, turn him around and we’ll lost him, it is quite fun.”
Laughing at her husband’s comment, Adoree reflected on a memory she had when she was younger, which involved her dad being arrested.
“Fun or not fun. Arthur [their son] never knew the story, there has been a bit of a theme of, ‘Where’s dad?’ ‘Where’s Papi?’” Adoree began to explain.
“We always go back to telling the story about when we went to NASA in Florida and we were on the coach and they made it really clear that you had to get back on the coach.
“You know it has really high security, so Dad was just never around, walking off all of the time and the coach left without him and Dad was stuck and nearly got arrested.
“Do you know what? My dad blamed us for sort of saying that we were all on the coach but he was never in his seat because he was always taking pictures,” she added with a laugh.
Luckily, the story had a happy ending and the Strawbridges announced their return to America back in February for their new tour.

They posted a family photo on their Instagram and penned: “And so it begins…After months of planning and excitement we are finally here in California for the start of our Dare to Do It tour!
“We are having a little family road trip before everyone meets up and Santa Barbara is destination No.1. It’s truly like a postcard. Have a Terrific Tuesday and can’t wait to see you all soon! Dick & Angel.” (sic)
