Amanda Owen has been inundated with supportive messages from Our Yorkshire Farm fans following her latest social media update in honour of her son, Reuben.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess has remained rather quiet on the social media front of late, with her last Instagram update coming way back at the beginning of March.
But as April edges towards its climax, the mum-of-nine had good reason to return to the spotlight as she marked a major achievement by her 20-year-old son.
The young farmer and heavy plant machinery business owner recently celebrated the premiere of his very own TV series.
Earlier this week, Reuben: Life in the Dales premiered on Channel 5 as fans got to see firsthand the trials and tribulations he, his girlfriend Sarah, and his friend Tommy face across Yorkshire’s farmland.
The show was met with plenty of praise from diehard fans of the Owen clan – and it turns out his mum is just as pleased with her son’s solo TV project after he moved onto pastures new following Our Yorkshire Farm’s ending.

On the social media site, Owen shared a rare selfie with her son as she beamed with pride in the accompanying caption.
The Our Yorkshire Farm star penned to her 532k followers: “So proud of big lad @reubenowen74.
“He’s a star,” she added alongside a star emoji, prompting floods of similar responses from her fans.
In the comments, one Instagram user referred to the youngster and his colleagues: “Lovely to see 3 young people working hard and having fun at the same time – so entertaining. Well done Reuben.”
Another similarly praised: “Loving his own programme. Where has that time gone, watching him as boy on the farm, now a man with his own business. He’s a hard worker, best of luck to him.”
A third weighed in: “Absolutely love this show. They are cracking role models for young people to show how hard work and determination will get you to your goals.
“A very bright future lies ahead for the 3 of them and thanks for sharing the journey with us all.”
“He certainly is, and I love his girlfriend and Tom, 3 mega stars. And certainly not work shy,” a fourth added before a fifth echoed: “He is such a credit to you Amanda.” (sic)
Owen’s show of support for her eldest son comes just days after he spoke out for the first time on her split from his dad Clive.
The pair brought their marriage to a close in 2022 and with it, the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm.

The 20-year-old told Mail Online about his parents’ break-up: “Yeah, they spoke about it, but it’s not really a big deal between any of us.
“It’s quite simple really. Everyone gets along great. It’s not really changed for any of us, if you get me.”
When asked if his parents had made sure not to impact their children with too much change, he replied: “Yes, they decided and that was that. They are happy as they are.
“Everyone makes it work. Beyond that, it’s not my business. All I want is for them to be happy. That is all that matters. They are happy, and that’s all that counts.”
