Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda and Clive Owen haven’t been on screens together since they announced the cancellation of the Channel 4 show due to their separation in 2022.
When they announced recently they’d be back, along with their nine children, for a new show, Our Farm Next Door, fans were eager to see what would be in store for the family.
Despite the couple remaining separated, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda, 50, reunited on-screen with Clive, 69, in the new series which will see the family fixing up a derelict farmhouse.
The pair’s split was very public, but the duo has found a way to keep things civilised for their children as well as continuing to work at Ravenseat Farm.
Minutes into the debut episode of the More4 docuseries, Amanda explained: “Me and Clive, although we are still husband and wife, we are separate.
“This last year has been incredibly hard in so many respects but we’ve got through it.”
Giving his point of view, Clive separately shared a similar sentiment as he commented: “Me and Amanda, we’ve had a strange few years and we’re now in a place where although we are not actually together, we are still in business together, we still have these kids together.”
He went on to admit: “It’s a crazy situation but it isn’t – it’s the most sensible thing for everybody to do.”
Amanda later detailed: “It’s just what happened – just pressures and stresses but now we are kind of pulling back together again, because we kind of need to, because we’ve got a house to do up.”
Continuing her candid thoughts about her ex, she added: “I do his head in, in his words, and he does my head in. But we are basically both on the same side.”

The reason for their joint project is because the Ravenseat home the family live and work at, which featured heavily in the original Channel 4 series, is tenanted.
The parents explained they wanted something to leave behind for their clan, with Amanda reflecting: “Because with all these children, they all need to have a place that they can call home.”
The new property was in a state of disarray, and it was clear the family would have to work very hard to get it fixed up and into a liveable condition.
The first episode saw all the children getting stuck in, just as they did on Ravenseat Farm, one of the most isolated hill farms in England.
Amanda appeared on ITV’s Lorraine on Monday, where she heartbreakingly explained “you don’t always get the happy ending” while reflecting on her 22-year marriage.
“You know, you don’t always get the happy ending that you want and things go wrong but that’s life, isn’t it?” She explained as she chatted to the Scottish presenter.
She went on to candidly admit: “We’ve got a lot of room and we’ve got a lot of distractions, there’s just so much going on.
“I mean first and foremost, we’re farming trying to keep everything going and in a way, it’s another diversification, we have fingers in so many different pies that it’s just unbelievable.”
