Aldi has announced the launch of a new twist on a breakfast product that customers also have with lunch, dinner or as a snack.

The budget supermarket has just launched a new version of their iconic hash browns and it may be one of their most exciting creations yet.

The supermarket confirmed shoppers can now get their hands on its Four Seasons Hash Brown Fries.

Launched on the 15th of July, the breakfast must-haves will only set shoppers back £2.75.

The tasty treats are made of shredded potato and are the ideal addition to a traditional English breakfast or dipped into a spicy salsa.

“Available for the summer, Aldi is currently the only UK supermarket to stock hash brown fries. So anyone looking to get their hands on these quirky treats will need to act fast,” a spokesperson for the supermarket said.

News of the latest addition was announced on the Facebook group Food Finds UK Official, quickly gaining traction from Aldi shoppers.

“Run don’t walk,” wrote one shopper, while another quipped: “I need these.”

Shoppers who have already sampled the product confirmed how delicious they are online, with one stating: “I’ve had these and [they are] really good.”

The post was flooded with additional comments from Aldi fans tagging their loved ones to share the exciting news.

The announcement comes days after the supermarket confirmed it was launching an “iconic” sauce with a luxurious taste.

Aldi said it will be “serving up a taste of Japan” with Kewpie Mayonnaise (£3.19, 355ml).

The supermarket said: “Foodie fans have been flocking to spread the love on social media for this moreish mayo – a Japan cult classic.

“The hashtag #kewpiemayo has racked up over 94 million TikTok posts and counting.

“Carefully created using only egg yolks for a luxurious, richer taste, this sauce boasts an ultra-creamy texture.

“For adding it as a dipping sauce with sushi to spreading on sandwiches, this iconic Japanese favourite is the perfect addition to any dish.

“What’s more, Aldi is the only supermarket to stock a dual-nozzle bottle, which allows for both precise decoration and generous toppings with both a slimline and star-shaped nozzle.”

The item has hit shelves as a Specialbuy – a category of products brought to customers every Thursday and Sunday at “unbelievable prices”.
