Aldi has launched a new range of vegan smash burgers for Veganuary, offering shoppers a healthy start to the new year without straining their wallets.

The plant-based burgers, priced at £1.99, are available in three distinct flavours: Tex Mex, BBQ and Chargrilled.

Part of Aldi’s Plant Menu range, the No Chicken Smash Burgers can be pan-fried, grilled or air fried to suit different cooking preferences.

The launch comes as smash burgers continue to gain popularity on TikTok, with Aldi expanding its plant-based selection to meet growing demand.

The Tex Mex variant features a combination of chunky tomato salsa, black bean and green jalapenos, offering a hearty fresh taste.

The BBQ option comes with a smoky Korean style seasoning, whilst the Chargrilled variety combines vegan chicken with freshly cracked black pepper.

All three burgers are designed with health in mind, boasting high protein content, low saturated fat and chicory root fibre – a “delicious and convenient way to support gut health”.

These new additions demonstrate Aldi’s commitment to offering nutritious plant-based alternatives during Veganuary.

Beyond the smash burgers, Aldi has expanded its health-focused range with additional products for the new year.

The supermarket has introduced a Gut Health Greek Style Chicken Ready Meal, priced at £2.89, which contains 424 calories per pack.

This protein-rich, low-fat meal option is suitable for both lunch and dinner.

Aldi has also launched an Immunity Moroccan Style Chicken Ready Meal at £2.89, further supporting customers’ healthy eating goals.
