All-you-can-eat buffets have long been a go-to for diners craving generous helpings of virtually any food they desire, all at a low price point.

But for those who have grown tired of the greasy, mundane offerings of chips and spring rolls typically served up at their local joints, a lavish alternative awaits – but it’ll cost a pretty penny.

At The Ned, a members’ club and hotel located in the City of London, diners can feast on lobster tail, oysters, roast meats and gourmet salads – washed down with free-flowing champagne for an extra fee, of course.

Ned’s Feast is served across Millie’s Lounge and The Nickel Bar booths every Sunday, offering the finest of foods to those who don’t mind forking out £120 for the ultimate buffet experience.

Known for its high-quality seafood, the Feast is packed with fresh, limitless lobster, oysters, prawns, crevettes and smoked salmon.

As for starters and salads, the options are endless. Guests can choose from a variety of crisp, freshly prepared salads, including grain and Caesar.

Those who’d prefer to snack on something a little moreish, options such as deviled eggs, avocado toast, sausage rolls and charcuterie are available.

But a swanky buffet on a Sunday isn’t complete without a top-tier roast dinner – one that would most certainly put its budget competitors to shame.

Across Millie’s Lounge, guests will have all they’ll need to construct a seriously impressive Sunday Roast – starting with roast meats like beef, chicken and pork.

As for trimmings, the Ned offers a myriad of choices, including Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, veg, stuffing, pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese, and mac & cheese.

Room for dessert? Cakes, tarts, brownies, fruit salads, cheese boards and even sweet stations are among the options for those with a sweet tooth.

Both soft drinks and alcohol are available, as well as Prosecco upgrades.

While the standard buffet experience costs £120 per person for two hours, those who wish to elevate their meal with an equally luxurious tipple (or two), free-flowing champagne is available for an extra £70, bringing the total cost to £190.

Standard soft drinks, hot beverages and alcoholic options are also available, including Prosecco upgrades.

Adult prices apply to those aged 12 and over, while guests aged between four and 12 can enjoy the feast at half the cost. Children aged three and under eat for free, as detailed on The Ned’s website.

So, if you fancy elevating your all-you-can-eat experience with premium food and live jazz music inside a former bank, now is your cue to skip your local joint and spend a Sunday afternoon dining like royalty at one of most expensive buffets in the world.

Meanwhile, a man has revealed what it’s like to try the ‘most expensive burger in London’ – complete with a caviar garnish and a price tag that’ll make your eyes water.

Otto’s French Restaurant in Bloomsbury prides itself on offering ‘classic, elegant, and romantic Gallic fine dining’.

It was here that Carmie Sellitto, a TikTok creator turned restaurant critic, tried the £300 burger.

Otto’s Le Burger Deluxe is crafted from four prime cuts, topped with a lobster claw and an entire pot of caviar. It also comes with white sauce, egg yolk and potato crisps.
