Travel content creator Wiktoria, who goes by @wiktoriawanders on Instagram, shared her experience staying in one of the luxury tents.

And Wiktoria revealed she paid just $5 for her stay and described it as ‘insane’, posting a video tour of her room.

The video shows red and white drape decor hanging across the ceiling and the walls adorned with patterned fabric.

Three single beds are neatly made and stand on stylish tile flooring.

Meanwhile, a private terrace through the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooks the jaw-dropping desert, with three chairs placed outside for guests to sit and take in the views.

Wiktoria posted the video in December and explained in the caption: ‘But because it’s low season and tourism is slow right now, prices have dropped a lot.

‘So if you’re planning to go to Jordan and see prices like this, it’s not a scam. It’s just the reality these days.’

She described the season as the ‘perfect time’ to visit the country and described it as ‘safe’ as well as ‘waiting for more tourists’.

Those wanting to visit Jordan should be aware of the UK Foreign Office’s travel advice.

The government advises against travel to parts of Jordan near Syria, specifically within 3km of the border with Syria.

For other areas, it recommends checking travel advice before travelling.
