The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) stated: “The product presents a risk of injuries as the heels on the shoes may snap and cause the user to trip or fall, receiving injuries.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
“The product has been recalled from end users by Next. Affected customers have been contacted directly.”
The shoes, described as “Silver leather heels with a pointed toe, stiletto heel and an ankle strap” on Next’s official website, are retailed at £119.
