While there remains some questions about Russell Wilson’s status with the Pittsburgh Steelers, his wife Ciara remains by his side.
The 39-year-old singer and actress posted a photo of herself with Wilson over the weekend as they enjoyed a night out together.
‘You had me at hello #DateNight,’ read the caption on the photos shared to her Instagram account.
This year, the couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary back in July – with Wilson posting a video to Instagram of some special moments.
Wilson captioned the post, ‘Celebrating 8 years of God’s love & grace over us @Ciara! Since we met, you’ve been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer.
‘God blessed me with the most incredible gift in you! I am so grateful for our journey together. Here’s to a lifetime more. I love you Mrs. Wilson to Heaven & back.’

Ciara also paid tribute to Wilson in celebration of their anniversary with her own Instagram post, captioned, ‘I love walking with you, talking with you, being in your arms, and doing everything with you! I’m the happiest girl because of how you love me!’
The couple have three children together: son Win (4) and daughters Sienna (7) and Amora (11 months). Ciara also has a ten-year-old son Future, who she shares with the rapper Future.
As for Wilson’s job security, it’s still up in the air after last week’s defeat to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.
Wilson has only started five games for Pittsburgh as they balance whether to give him or fellow quarterback Justin Fields more starts.
Wilson has outperformed his counterpart in passing yards and passing touchdowns despite fewer completions and pass attempts.
The Steelers next play the division rival Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
