Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she thought her “life was over” after giving birth to her daughter Bambi – recalling the “really low lows”.
Hague – who came runner-up on Love Island with then-boyfriend Tommy Fury in 2019 – uploaded a new vlog to her YouTube channel yesterday documenting a couple of days in her life.
The star revealed she had been in London for a few days and on the way back visited her manager Francesca Britton who had just given birth to her second baby boy.
Speaking about her time away from her daughter, Hague said: “I had the best time in London, my soul needed those couple of days.
“I needed… there is nothing better in this life than those days where you are in fits of laughter with your friends, and I just feel really overwhelmingly grateful.
“This afternoon before we headed home from London we visited Fran’s new baby! He’s called Tate, and oh my gosh it was really so surreal because she was in the same room.
“Not the same room that I gave birth in but the room that you go to recover in and to be in, she was in the same room that I was in with Bambi, so it was just so surreal!
“Just going there and meeting her son, it is her second baby boy and oh my god it was just so magical.”
Going on to admit how it made her feel with all the memories that came flooding back, Hague added: “To go back to that room was just really surreal because I had a lot of incredible highs in that room and a lot of like really low lows.
“I remember when my milk came in when I was taking a shower in that room and the way I cried in the show in that room, I have never ever, ever cried like that in my life before.
“I literally felt like my life was over even though I had just given birth and that all happened in that room.
“It healed a little part of me [to go back] because it was going back in that room where I had some really strange moments. It was quiet healing and magical and I am just so happy for her.”
This isn’t the first time that Hague admitted to struggling after having Bambi, as she said in a previous vlog that she and Fury had a “breakdown” in the early weeks of welcoming their daughter.
She confessed alongside her sister Zoe Hague: “Those first few weeks of Bambi’s life… hell and back. We were having a breakdown.”
The revelation comes after the 25-year-old spoke about her split from boxer Fury for the first time, admitting she was ready to marry him next year.
Speaking to British Vogue, she explained: “I didn’t want what happened to happen. I wanted to get married to Tommy, 100 percent, and that would never have changed.
