22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford updated fans on how she is commemorating the death of her son Alfie 10 years on, with a huge milestone.

In 2014, parents of 22 Sue and Noel Radford were tragically told at their three-month scan that the doctors could no longer find the heartbeat of their 17th child, Alfie.

Each year since, Radford has posted a memorial for her deceased son on social media triggering an outpouring of support from fans.

Earlier this year, she posted: “This time 10 years ago I was in a labour room being told our beautiful baby boy had no heartbeat.”

“I would be induced a few hours later for him to be born silent but perfect at 7.54am the next morning. This time of year never ever gets easier. I can’t believe it’s 10 years tomorrow since he was born.”

This week, Radford shared a new tribute to her son with advice to parents in similar situations.

The Morecambe-based mum announced that she had received Alfie’s birth certificate upon her request and was planning to have it framed.

“This is going to be framed. So precious,” she wrote in an Instagram post accompanying a photo of the certificate.

Radford also shared advice on how to request a birth certificate for parents facing the same heartbreaking loss.

“Lots of you asking how to do this,” sharing how other parents who were going through loss could request the same thing.

The Radford family were also given cause to smile this week as their family continues to grow, as their second eldest daughter Chloe announced she was expecting another baby.

The mother of three, 29, made the announcement on Instagram.

Also announced earlier this week was the birth of the Radford’s 11th grandchild, Ronnie, who was born to eldest daughter Sophie, 30, and her husband Joseph Broadley.

The couple posted the delightful news on their Instagram post and captioned the montage of images: “Welcome to the world Ronnie. He’s just so precious congratulations Katie and Connor he’s just amazing. Very proud nana and grandpops.”

Sophie also shared the news on her Instagram account and said: “He is absolute perfection. Little Ronnie.”

Sue and Noel Radford, who had originally only planned to have three children but told the Daily Star they had become addicted to having kids.

The couple have finally decided to call it quits on have any more children.

To that, Sue said: “People might say there’s no longer any need for the ‘and counting’ in the title of the TV programme because me and Noel won’t be having any more kids. But we will hopefully be counting grandchildren for many more years.”
